Over the past few decades, technology has had a huge impact on education. The way students learn today is very different from how their parents and grandparents learned. In the past, students relied mainly on textbooks, blackboards, and handwritten notes. Today, computers, tablets, and the internet have become essential tools in the classroom. One of the biggest changes is the availability of online learning. Students can now access courses, tutorials, and educational videos from anywhere in the world. Platforms like Khan Academy and Coursera offer free or affordable lessons on almost any subject. This means that a student in a small village can learn the same material as a student in a big city. Technology has also made learning more interactive. Instead of just reading from a book, students can use apps and software to practice skills through games and simulations. For example, language learning apps allow students to practice speaking, listening, and writing in a foreign language every day. However, technology in education also has its challenges. Not all students have access to the internet or a computer at home. This creates a gap between students who can use technology and those who cannot. There are also concerns that too much screen time can affect concentration and health. Despite these issues, it is clear that technology will continue to play a growing role in education.
